PSL All-Time Winners List

Find out all the details about the all-time winners list of the HBL PSL – Pakistan Super League from 2016 to 2025. Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars have won the PSL titles three times. In contrast, all other franchise teams have won the trophy one time each.

Three-time winner Lahore Qalandars is one of the most valuable teams in the Pakistan Super League. Lahore Qalandars is the only team to have won the title consecutively in 2022 and 2023. At the start of the league, Lahore Qalandars were among the weakest teams. But in recent times, they shifted gears and became the best team in PSL history.

Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi are also among the top contenders, as they have played in the final three times but have unfortunately been runners-up. However, both teams have won the titles once.

Overview

PSL 2016

Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United faced off in the first season of the Pakistan Super League at the Dubai International Stadium. Islamabad United won the PSL 1 season under the leadership of skipper Misbah-ul-Haq.

PSL 2017

In the second edition of the Pakistan Super League, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators faced each other at Lahore Gaddafi Stadium. Sarfraz Ahmed, who led the team in the PSL 2016 final, finally claimed the title in 2017.

PSL 2018

Played at Karachi stadium, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi played the final of the PSL 3rd season. Luke Ronchi helped Islamabad United lift their second trophy.

PSL 2019

Quetta Gladiators reached the final for the third time in PSL 2019 under the captaincy of Sarfraz Ahmed in the fourth season. The final was played at Karachi between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi.

PSL 2020

One of the thrilling finals of the Pakistan Super League was played between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings at the National Stadium Karachi. Under the captaincy of Imad Wasim, Karachi won their maiden title.

PSL 2021

Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi meet each other at Abu Dhabi in the final of PSL season 6. Marking their legacy, Multan Sultans won their first PSL title under the captaincy of Rizwan, despite being the newest franchise in the PSL.

PSL 2022

The final of the 7th edition of the Pakistan Super League was played between Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Under the leadership of Shaheen Afridi, Lahore Qalandars finally broke the curse and won their maiden PSL title.

PSL 2023

Once again, Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans met in the final of season 8 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. It was one of the most thrilling and nail-biting finales, with Lahore Qalandars winning by just one run, making them the first team to win consecutive PSL titles.

PSL 2024

Marking their third consecutive appearance in the finals of the Pakistan Super League, Multan Sultans met Islamabad United at the National Stadium, Karachi. Islamabad United outclass the Sultans to win their third PSL title.

PSL 2025

Lahore Qalandars once again managed to reach the finals against Quetta Gladiators at Lahore Gaddafi Stadium. Winning their third title, Lahore Qalandars won by six wickets with one ball left.
