Here’s a detailed overview about the Lahore Qalandars all seasons squad and players list:
About Lahore Qalandars Team
The Lahore Qalandars is an iconic brand in the PSL, representing the ancient city of Lahore with Gaddafi Stadium as the home ground. Despite a rough first half of the season, the Qalandars turned things around to establish themselves as one of the most successful franchises in PSL’s brief history, developing one of the biggest comebacks in modern T20 cricket.
Lahore Qalandars are owned by Qatar Lubricants Company Limited (QALCO) and have developed a unique brand that focuses on youth development, an aggressive style of play, and strong relationships with their fans.
LQ wins their first PSL title by beating Multan Sultans in the 2022 Final. In 2023, they successfully defended their championship and became one of the few franchises to win consecutive PSL Championships. Also, by wining the PSL 2025 final against Quetta Gladiators Lahore Qalandars becomes the first team to clinch three titles to its name.
Strong Debut in PSL
Lahore Qalandars debuted in the PSL’s first season in 2016, while it was formed in December 2015. The owners bought the franchise for US$25.1 million over 10 years. That whopping amount made them the second-most expensive team at launch.
Early years brought challenges. They finished last in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019. But they bounced back. In 2020, they reached the playoffs and became runners-up. Their hard work paid off with PSL wins in 2022, 2023, and 2025. Today, they have a 42.55% win-rate across 94 matches.
Current Owners
The Rana brothers own the Lahore Qalandars. Atif Rana serves as owner and CEO. His brother, Sameen Rana, also plays a key role. They run the team through Qatar Lubricants Company (QALCO). Fawad Rana founded this vision.

Previous Owners

The Rana Family paid Rs. 670 million annually, which is the highest in PSL history. Ernst & Young evaluated the recent deal that shows the team’s growing value.
